New Life

“New Life in 10 months” - those were the words I heard the Holy Spirit speak to me almost 2 years ago from today. I was on a hill away from the city noise and I didn’t realize what those words would mean.

When God speaks things happen. I think about how Peter responding to Jesus said “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life”

I began a sense of new life when I met Grace back in March 2011. On our first date we shared what we felt we wanted to do with our lives. I said “I want to be a missionary that has a business that funds missionaries, and I wanted to minister around the world with my wife playing worship music. Grace shared “ __________Grace write response here.”

Then fast forward 3 years later. We’re married with 1 kid and I’m working 2 jobs Things We decided to start a music school for kids called Jacaranda Music Studios. The school has taught so many wonderful kids how to play music from various genres. And our most favorite part was getting to help some kids get ready to play on the worship teams at their home church.

Back to those words New Life, what did it mean?

Here we are now in Cary, NC and we’ve decided to pursue writing songs that will set people free through experiencing the presence of God as they listen.
